K&S Sportswear celebrated its 30th anniversary in Humble on May 4.

According to information on the business's website, the company was founded by Steve and Katy Weirich in 1995 and opened its first brick-and-mortar storefront in 2015. The couple retired in 2017 and their daughter Brittney Mittag has since taken over day-to-day operations.

K&S Sportswear is a full-service screen printing and embroidery company that offers promotional items—ranging from shirts and hats to koozies and tote bags—for organizations, nonprofits, businesses and individuals. The company is an approved vendor for several local school districts and has an on-staff graphic designer, according to the company's website.
