Construction on a BP Pulse electric vehicle charging station near George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston is set to begin in March, according to a Jan. 20 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The roughly $1.6 million charging station will include 11 electric vehicle charging dispensers serving 22 parking stalls, two canopies and covering, according to the filing.

BP Pulse offers public charging stations across the nation, according to the business’ website. The company currently has projects in 30 states.

While a projected opening date was not included in the filing, construction on the project is expected to wrap up in August.
