An 11.5-acre plat of land dubbed the Westpark Tollway Apartments was approved by Fort Bend County Commissioners Court on July 12. The complex would be located in Richmond, north of FM 1093 and east of Peek Road, between Exxon and the Cyan Cinco Ranch apartments. Plans for the development call the community Peek Road Apartments, though they have not yet been approved, said Dwayne Grigar, director of planning and infrastructure for Precinct 1.

“At the time of review, the proposal was for [more than] 300 units consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment units,” Grigar wrote in an email.

A timeline for when construction will be completed has not yet been determined, Grigar said.
