Hibiscus Health and Wellness, a direct primary care clinic in Katy, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its grand opening Aug. 4. The practice is located at 26622 Cook Field Road, Ste. 300, Katy, and is led by Dr. Jacinta Anyaoku, who takes a collaborative approach to patient care and has clinical interests in women’s health, dermatologic procedures—especially concerning skin of color—and preventative care.

Services received through membership with Hibiscus Health and Wellness are varied. They include preventative care and acute/sick care visits; chronic disease management; mental health care; general pediatric care for patients age 2 and up; and contraception management as well as aesthetic procedures, such as Botox, dermal fillers and chemical peels.

Direct primary care requires patients to make a monthly payment to the office for access to in-person and virtual visits, phone calls, text messaging and email communication with Anyaoku. This specific type of practice boasts benefits that include affordability and greater access to more personalized care from physicians who can handle up to 90% of a patient’s health care needs. 281-394-4959. www.hibiscus.health
