The John Paul Landing Environmental Education Center hosted a grand reopening May 21 after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The center, managed by Harris County and located at 9950 Katy Hockley Road, Katy, sits inside an 865-acre park and offers displays and programming for visitors to learn about elements of the local environment, such as the Discovery Room and bird-watching events.
