2. Pappa Gyros officially opened its Katy location Feb. 4. 3. Firehouse Subs opened a new location at 6630 FM 1463, Fulshear, on Feb. 8. This is Firehouse Subs franchisee Taha Mohamed's second location in the Katy area. Firehouse Subs accepts online ordering through the Firehouse Subs app or website, call-in phone orders, third-party delivery, Rapid Rescue To Go takeout service at the counter inside and catering. The franchise offers a variety of sandwich options featuring meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh daily in the restaurant as well as salads and chips.
4. Jarro Cafe is expected to open soon this year in Katy. It will be located at 1223 Grand West Blvd., Ste. B113. The restaurant serves tacos, quesadillas and tortas. There is another location in Houston. No phone number is available as of press time. www.jarrocafe.com
5. Teriyaki Madness opened its second location Jan. 27 and celebrated with a grand opening. The new restaurant is located at 19227 Katy Freeway, Ste. 500, Houston. The Asian restaurant serves chicken teriyaki, orange chicken, steak teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, spicy tofu teriyaki, chicken egg rolls, edamame, chicken potstickers and crab rangoons.
