Kokio Chicken is expected to have its grand opening Nov. 18 at 9006 S. Fry Road, Ste. C, Katy. The restaurant chain serves unique flavors of wings, including honey bee, garlic and orange chicken, as well as sides of waffle fries, onion rings, coleslaw and spicy rice cakes. Roegels Barbecue Co. will be opening a new location in Katy that is expected to open in December or January. Located at 20702 Katy Freeway, Katy, the menu features smoked sausage, pork ribs, whole barbecue chicken, smoked pork belly and beef ribs as well as sides of potato salad, collard greens, loaded mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese. Stone Age Korean Bar Grill opened Oct. 18 at 20940 Katy Freeway, Ste. C, Katy. The Korean grill restaurant fuses traditional Korean cuisine with typical steakhouse selections. The Halal Guys opened its Katy location Oct. 2. Located at 23703 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. B, Katy, the restaurant originally started as a food cart in 1990 and serves gyros, falafels and hummus, among other things.
