A network of semitrailer parking and storage is extending into the Katy and Brookshire areas.
Riggy’s West 10, a 19.14-acre truck parking and trailer storage station located at 30229 Hwy. 90, Brookshire, near the Amazon Distribution Center, will begin construction in December with plans to open officially in spring 2023.
The station will feature 326 parking spaces, private gate access with security monitoring, LED lighting and a 3,000-square-foot living area with showers and laundry facilities.
Riggy’s is the operations arm of
DryPort Capital, a firm that deals with the acquisition and development of industrial service facilities for trucking and logistics. DryPoint Capital’s portfolio includes three other semitrailer parking facilities in Houston—with one other station in Katy. These parking and storage stations are located strategically near population centers, industrial submarkets and transportation infrastructure, according to DryPort Capital's website.
