Alchemy Bake Lab to open Katy brick and mortar

Alchemy Bake Lab, a dessert shop that specializes in miniature versions of classic treats, plans to open by late December or early January.

Located in the Co-Op at Elyson shopping center at 6845 Peek Road, Ste. 230, Katy, the bake shop makes individualized treats and dessert bars for events, such as weddings, graduations and baby showers. Though the new bakery in Katy is not yet open, owner and dessert alchemist Kady Miller is accepting orders for delivery or curbside pickup in Cypress. Alchemy Bake Lab's X-Mas Treat Box includes holiday treats such as hot chocolate macarons, peppermint bark Oreos, boozy eggnog mousse shooters and mini-gingerbread houses. 401-569-9690. www.alchemybakelab.com
