Senior Multi Platform Journalist

Sierra joined Community Impact as a reporter in September of 2021 after graduating with a degree in communication and minors in journalism and women's studies from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. Sierra covered all things in the South Houston area including Friendswood ISD, Friendswood City Council, Fort Bend County Commissioner's Court, Clear Creek ISD and Harris County METRO. In June of 2022, Sierra moved over to the digital team as one of the multiplatform journalists in Houston, and currently sends out daily newsletters to eight different markets and does a variety of sponsored content for clients. In July of 2023, Sierra took over the flagship newsletters for Round Rock and Pflugerville/Hutto.
