Cheeky Monkeys opens indoor play venue near Fulshear

Cheeky Monkeys, an indoor play venue for children, opened late last year in the Fulshear area.

The gist

The business offers softplay areas based on Montessori principals for children age 8 and younger. The facility features a supervised, visually open play area with educational and play-based stations, said Aftab Hemani, CEO of Kreative Kidz, the franchisor in the Houston area.

Cheeky Monkeys also includes an imagination playground, an arts and crafts area, a coffee shop and cafe, and private party rooms with comprehensive planning services, Hemani said in an email.

Zooming out

The international brand has 10 locations in the U.S., with four additional under construction in Friendswood, Pearland, Cypress and New Caney, Hemani said. Other existing Houston locations include Sugar Land and Shenandoah.
