Overall, the number of homes sold in Katy- and Fulshear-area ZIP codes decreased in March compared to March 2023. There were 589 homes sold in seven local ZIP codes in March versus 747 for the same month last year.

All seven local ZIP codes saw the number of homes sold decline year over year, with the biggest decrease in ZIP code 77423 with a 36.59% decline.

Additionally, the average number of days homes spent on the market varied between ZIP codes, with homes selling faster year over year in four ZIP codes. Homes, on average, spent the most time on the market in ZIP code 77441 with 91 days.

Meanwhile, the median home sales price increased year over year in five local ZIP codes, with the most increase being seen in the 77094 ZIP code near the Energy Corridor. That ZIP code also had the highest median home sales price at $651,500.
