Why did you choose to run for the position?
Growing up in Texas, I saw time and time again how elected officials were ignoring the real issues of everyday folks and instead focusing on extreme agendas with no place in our state. I will fight to protect everyone’s rights and things that matter the most to you.
What is your top priority if elected?
We need to address the infrastructure of our power grid with proactive legislation. Too often people are without power due to weather disasters. These outages can be prevented by ensuring power suppliers are maintaining their machines, actively trimming trees near lines and focused on fast restoration.
What do you think is the most pressing issue for local residents, and what will you do to address it?
High health care costs are a problem. We are one of only eight states not to expand Medicaid. Texas has one of the highest uninsured populations in America. People are making decisions to go to the doctor or pay their light bill, and that’s if their electricity will power on!
What should the state prioritize in the next legislative session?
We need to prioritize trusting women to make their own health care decisions.
Why did you choose to run for the position?
I wanted our district to have a voice and be heard. I wanted to return representation to the people of the district and not special interest groups.
What is your top priority if elected?
To always do the will of the people that elect me to office. We need relief from inflation, border security and reduced taxes.
What do you think is the most pressing issue for local residents, and what will you do to address it?
Taxes, insurance and crime are some of the most pressing issues I see across HD 26 when speaking to voters.
What should the state prioritize in the next legislative session?
Closing the border, reducing/eliminating property taxes and lower inflation. I also want to see government work for the people instead of people working for the government.
