Katy residents looking for a place to let loose will have a new option by the end of the year.

The details

Baxter’s Bar, a new Houston-area concept, will make its debut in Katy and aim to “bring out the devil in all of us,” Brand Manager Katelyn Trulove said. The establishment will feature a large centralized bar, dance floor, lounge area and pool tables for guests to enjoy.

“The idea is you’ve been working all week long—you’re doing your 9 to 5 or doing your family thing—you just [come here] and you can just let loose,” she said. “It’s very much just show up, have a good time and then go back to your real world.”

The drink menu

Patrons will be able to choose traditional spirits or can order the bar’s specialty drinks, including those with a devil and angel theme, Trulove said.

Additionally, guests can order food from neighboring eateries Wienerschnitzel and Texas Craft Wings while in the bar.

Looking ahead

Beyond Katy, Trulove said the Baxter’s team plans to expand the brand throughout the Houston area.
