Bubba’s 33, a sports bar and restaurant, will hire 200 employees to open its Katy eatery this summer.

The details

The national franchise’s menu includes scratch-made pizza, burgers, wings, chicken tenders and various appetizers, according to a news release from the company. It also includes a host of drinks, including cocktails, beer and wine.

The Katy location will feature an indoor dining area with garage door walls, allowing for the doors to be raised when the weather is nice to provide a covered patio setting, Bubba's 33 Marketing Leader Crista Dean said in an email. The restaurant will also feature numerous TVs showcasing sports and music videos, per the release.

The backstory

This is the first Houston-area location for the business, second in Texas and 47th nationwide. The family-friendly eatery was founded in 2013 by Kent Taylor, founder of Texas Roadhouse, according to the release.
