Long-running fitness facility CrossFit Katy relocated to a larger space in Katy earlier this year.

The details

CrossFit Katy is a community-oriented and family-friendly fitness facility that provides CrossFit classes and boot camps to community members, co-owner Drew Reeves said in an email. Other features include air conditioning in the space, 24-hour access for members and child care three days a week for the 9:30 a.m. class.

Reeves, along with co-owners Adriel Ramirez and Mike Scott, opened the original location in 2011 at 1315 W. Grand Pkwy S., Ste. 110A, Katy, they said.

Unlike the former space, the business owners purchased the new unit in the Katy-Gaston Business Park because they wanted to invest in themselves, Ramirez said.

They said the new building also offers:
  • Two large bay doors for natural light and running ease
  • Revamped workout space for enhanced flow between equipment
  • New equipment to fill the larger space
  • Men and women’s restrooms with shower facilities
Quote of note

“We are a top-of-the-line fitness facility whose mission is to create a community of supportive people where members can discover, reach and exceed their health and fitness goals utilizing CrossFit’s world-class training methods,” Ramirez said.
