Budokan Martial Arts is set to open two new dojos this winter and early 2025, said sensei and managing partner Oswaldo Carrillo, in Sugar Land and Fulshear.

The details

The martial arts school offers traditional Japanese karate classes for all ages and skill levels, Carillo said in an email. These classes combine physical training with mental discipline and focus on the classic "Shotokan-style," he said.

"The traditional Shotokan-style [instills] important values such as respect, self-control and self-defense in our students," Carillo wrote in an email. "We pride ourselves on offering top-notch training and guidance in a welcoming and respectful environment."

What else?

Budokan Martial Arts employs instructors with more than 30 years of experience practicing karate, Carrillo said. Each sensei is a certified black belt under the USA National Karate-do Federation.

"So our students can trust that they are learning from some of the best in the industry," Carillo said.
