The location on Franz Road, which has a grand opening scheduled for Dec. 18, is owned by local franchisees Thomas and Ashley Perrin, a Beans & Brews spokesperson said in an email.

Quote of note

"We’re excited to help expand the Beans and Brews footprint in Houston, especially since there’s a real need for a great drive-thru coffee option in this area," Thomas Perrin said in a news release from the company. "As coffee lovers ourselves and with seven kids, the convenience of a drive-thru is important for busy families like ours. We’re looking forward to our business becoming a part of this community and providing an exceptional coffee experience."

The Perrins are set to open two other locations next year in the Katy area at 2506 Jordan Ranch Blvd., Ste. 1, Brookshire, and 24020 Clay Road, Katy. The locations in the Jordan Ranch community and on Clay Road will open in late February and mid-March, respectively, the spokesperson said.

The couple will open a total of 12 locations in the Greater Houston area, according to the release. The Perrin's territory will cover areas including Katy, Cypress, Tomball, Hockley and Bryan College Station.
