Katy residents will have another place to play pickleball next year.

Construction is underway for indoor facility Pickleball Katy that will help meet the area’s needs as pickleball continues to grow in popularity, owner and manager Kevin Guo confirmed in a Facebook message.

“With unprecedented growth of [the] pickleball community for the past few years, it [has] become a major challenge for the pickleball players to find a place to play at a convenient time, especially for people who live in Katy, a heavily populated area in the Greater Houston area,” he said.

The indoor facility will offer a total of 11 courts, including:
  • Six cushioned
  • Five hard surface
Additionally, the facility will feature a bar with beer, soft drinks and snacks as well as a gym, Guo said.

What else?

The facility will begin memberships pre-sales on Black Friday with a limited number of discounted memberships ahead of its 2025 opening, Guo said.
