Boardwalk Square apartments to break ground in Katy Boardwalk District

Construction will kick off April 8 on the Boardwalk Square apartments in the Katy Boardwalk District, the developer said.

The details

The luxury-style apartments from developer Sueba USA will include 353 units in studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts with custom interiors, according to a news release. Some unit amenities will include full-sized washers and dryers, walk-in closets, and granite countertops.

Additionally, the gated community will feature a five-story parking garage, coworking lounge, dog washing area, gym and pool.

The multifamily development is part of the larger 169-acre Katy Boardwalk District. The mixed-use development has an apartment complex and a nature preserve with trails, but it will also feature other elements upon completion, such as:

• Retail and restaurants
• A hotel and conference center

The apartment community joins Phase 1 of district’s multifamily component called Boardwalk Lofts, which opened in November 2021, according to the release.
