Upcoming projects

Fourth Street reconstruction

Project: The project will add a sewer system to the east side of Downtown Fulshear as well as reconstruct Fourth Street with on-street parking and add an 8-foot sidewalk along the road.

Update: At a Nov. 18 meeting, Fulshear City Council unanimously approved a construction contract with Conrad Construction.
  • Timeline: January 2026-November 2026
  • Cost: $2.33 million

Nelson Way extension and bridge construction


Project: The project will connect Pin Oak Road and FM 1463 with a four-lane bridge.

Update: At a Dec. 8 meeting, Katy City ouncil unanimously approved a $4.46 million construction contract with C.E. Barker LTD.
  • Timeline: February 2026-January 2027
  • Cost: $4.46 million

Ongoing projects

Harris Street reconstruction

Project: The project aims to improve Harris Street from FM 1093 to Fifth Street, adding more walkable spaces to the area.


Update: As of Nov. 3, Phase 1, which includes roadway improvements, is nearing completion before moving to the Phase 2 pedestrian plaza.
  • Timeline: October 2024-December 2025 (phase 1); TBD (phase 2)
