The project aims to improve the Grand Parkway from I-10 West to Hwy. 290. It includes adding one main lane in each direction, resulting in three northbound and three southbound lanes. The project also includes drainage improvements, according to the news release.

The improvements intend to address growing congestion levels and will cost approximately $157 million, according to the release. The project is estimated to take three years, with the funding coming from toll revenue.
