The online survey, which opened Nov. 10, will be administered until Nov. 28 for facilities scheduled to open in fall 2027, including:
- Elementary School No. 40, located in Fulshear
- Elementary School No. 41, located in Emberly near Kendleton
- Middle, Junior and High School No. 8 complex on FM 359 in Brookshire
Zooming out
Elementary schools No. 40 and 41 were authorized under the 2025 bond voters passed Nov. 4, Community Impact reported. They are part of a group of seven elementary campuses set to open across the district through 2029.
Meanwhile, Secondary Complex No. 8, which includes a middle, junior and high school, was funded by the 2022 bond. Prior to the 2025 bond, officials said the secondary complex was not supported by elementary schools.
Although voters did not approve the use of $26.5 million for repairs to Traylor Stadium in the November 2025 bond cycle, Superintendent Roosevelt Nivens said the district plans to expand the stadium at Tomas to accommodate at least 4,500 seats.
He described it as a “safer,” though smaller, alternative to Traylor Stadium’s reduced 6,000-seat capacity, due to concerns about the facility’s infrastructure.
