The Katy-Fulshear area is home to multiple breweries and bars specializing in craft beer. Check out these seven places serving unique, local beers. This list is not comprehensive.

Project Halo Brewing

The craft brewery, owned by a husband and wife team, serves artisan lagers and ales one batch at a time. The duo said they are inspired by beers and cultures from around the world, and strive to encourage creative expression and diversity in their work.

Along with unique beer, customers can often enjoy local food vendors at the brewery and special events such as “Pilates and Beer.”

Toddy Oaks Brewery

The family-owned brewery offers a selection of 12 hand-crafted, all-grain beers and two seltzers at all times. The brewery was made to resemble the Texas Hill Country and also serves as an event venue, with indoor and outdoor spaces, a stage and multiple bars.

Toddy Oaks Brewery is known for its live music tributes and will feature performances dedicated to Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the coming months.

No Label Brewing Co.

For the last 14 years, No Label Brewing Co. has served award-winning India pale ale, including a Hazy and Hefeweizen IPA.

The taproom has indoor and outdoor spaces that can be rented out for events, and the company also hosts recurring events such as running clubs and bingo nights. Additionally, No Label Brewing Co. offers a new beer every month that varies in style.

Baa Baa Brewhouse

Baa Baa Brewhouse features Hazy IPAs, fruited sours and crispy flavors in the Brookshire area.

The taproom offers beers on tap and in cans to go, with sheep-themed names such as Ewe Trippin’ and Ninja Sheep. Customers can visit the brewhouse every Saturday from noon to 5:30 p.m.

Katy Beer Garden

The Bavarian-inspired bar sells dozens of craft beers, as well as classic cocktails, mocktails and nonalcoholic drinks.

Katy Beer Garden is both kid-friendly and dog-friendly, and broadcasts most sporting events on TVs. The bar also offers a small menu, which includes hot dogs and pretzels.

The Growler Spot

The family-owned and operated craft beer and sports bar features 40 craft beers on tap as well as 11 wines.

The Growler Spot hosts a variety of occasions, such as Tiles Tuesday and Flatbread Fridays, and participates in community events in the Fulshear area, including the first annual Fulshear pub crawl in October.

MKT Distillery

Located in the heart of Katy off First Street, MKT Distillery offers craft beers and a place to hang out on football game days.

The distillery’s motto states that it is taking its small part of Katy’s history and preserving it for Katy’s future. Additionally, the distillery welcomes both pets and kids and has a food menu that includes flatbreads and nachos.
