Texas Borders Bar & Grill has opened its third location in the former The Oaks Kitchen and Bar space in Cane Island.

On the menu

The menu features Cajun, American and Tex-Mex cuisine including various pastas, wings, burgers, quesadillas and seafood dishes, according to its website.

Some menu specialties include:
  • Jo’s spicy gumbo
  • Cajun shrimp boil
  • Blackened chicken quesadilla
  • Ultimate mushroom burger
  • Baja tacos
Additionally, the new location will host kids events, live music, crawfish boils, and wine and whiskey tastings, officials previously said.

Founded by New Orleans native Kellie Messer in 1996, the eatery has existing locations on Pin Oak Road in Katy and on FM 1093 in Richmond.
