Houston-based Coco Crepes & Coffee will soon open a location in The Market at Katy Park development.

On the menu

The fast-casual cafe is known for its made-to-order sweet and savory crepes and waffles. The menu also features specialty coffee beverages, paninis, salads, soups, smoothies, homemade gelato and sorbet, Director of Operations Jim Howard said in an email.

According to the website, patrons can customize their crepes or pick an option from the menu, such as the:
  • Merguez Moroccan Sausage crepe with caramelized onions, mozzarella cheese, sauteed mushrooms and sun-dried tomato pesto sauce
  • Cinnamon Roll crepe with cinnamon butter cream and cinnamon sugar
  • Breakfast crepe with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and choice of meat

The backstory

Founded by chef Youssef Nafaa, Coco Crepes & Coffee's first location opened in Midtown in 2005. The neighborhood cafe has since expanded to nine locations across the Houston area, including the upcoming Katy eatery, Howard said.

Additionally, three more locations are planned for the Houston area through 2027, Howard said.
