The 9,715-square-foot facility is expected to open June 2024, according to a news release. A temporary fire station was previously opened in the area in January 2022.
“This, of course, is a great benefit to the thousands of people who make their home here in Cross Creek Ranch, but also to the region,” said Rob Bamford, vice president and general manager of Cross Creek Ranch, in the news release.
Fort Bend County ESD 4’s Fulshear Simonton Fire Department covers an area with about 77,000 residents in the cities of Fulshear, Simonton and Weston Lakes as well as some parts of Katy and Richmond. The district is serviced by five stations.
