An updated play area, featuring new murals, is coming to Katy Mills Mall.

Through a partnership with the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts at the University of Houston, the renovated space will feature original murals as part of an initiative to introduce new, imaginative experiences for families. In total, Katy Mills received 13 mural designs from UH students, which will be featured throughout the mall, Lisa Connolly, director of marketing and business development at Katy Mills, said.
