Parkway Fellowship opens Scroggins Chapel at new Katy location

Parkway Fellowship has opened a 300-seat chapel to hold weddings, funerals and other events at its Katy location in May.

Scroggins Chapel—a “classic white,” structure with exposed beams and old bells—is an expansion of the church’s new Katy location, which opened in January.

“It’s basically a bride’s dream,” said Jeremiah Mohr, lead worship pastor for Parkway Fellowship.

The 27,593-square-foot church sits on 14.5 acres, on land that was once Katy’s first feed store, Mohr said. The church also has a location in Richmond at 27043 FM 1093.
