The anticipated Thai restaurant Kin Dee has announced it will open May 22 at 1533 N. Shepherd Drive, Ste. 160, Houston.

Founded by Lukkaew Srasrisuwan and Miranda Loetkhamfu, the restaurant will offer made-from-scratch, cuisines drawing on four food regions of Thailand—northern, southern, northeast and central.

“We have conceptualized Kin Dee to be a truly authentic representation of our homeland in its flavors, its ingredients, its feel, and its overall vision – a vision that hearkens back to Thailand but simultaneously infuses new elements into what a modern Thai restaurant can be,” Srasrisuwan said in the announcement about the opening.

The menu will offer a variety of noodle-based dishes and other options, with spice levels appropriate to the region for each dish. The bar will offer 13 cocktails designed to pair with the menu's 13 signature entrees.

The restaurant will open in compliance with social distancing and other policies to ensure cleanliness, according to a news release. 281-826-2655. www.kindeethaicuisine.com
