July 3: Watch the Star-Spangled Salute

Ignite your patriotic spirit at the annual Star-Spangled Salute concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, which features the Houston Symphony performing a selection of patriotic favorites.July 3-4: Watch fireworks

In celebration of July Fourth, Hurricane Harbor Splashtown will host a Slides, Rides and the 4th of July event, during which guests can enjoy music, specialty food items and fireworks. Children age 2 and younger will receive free admission.

July 3-4: Party in the pool

The Laura Hotel will host Stars, Stripes, & Poolside Vibes, two three-hour pool parties on two separate days. There will be a live DJ, cocktails and poolside barbecue.

July 4: Listen to patriotic music


In its Star-Spangled Salute, the Houston Symphony will perform patriotic songs, followed by a fireworks display at 10 p.m. Tickets for covered seating will be available starting June 30 at 10 a.m.July 4: Attend a ‘Texas-sized’ celebration

At the city of Houston’s official Fourth of July celebration, Freedom Over Texas, there will be live performances by country singer Chris Young, Yola and band TMF, among others, followed by a fireworks display. Festivities include Bud Light Bayou Bash, Dr Pepper Flavor Zone and Dick’s Sporting Goods All-American Kids Zone. A percentage of food and beverage sales will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.

July 4: View the Fourth of July Parade

Put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the South County Fourth of July Parade. The 1.3-mile parade around The Woodlands features marching bands, fire engines, clowns and floats.July 4: Watch a laser show

Town Center Park Kingwood will celebrate Independence Day with its annual July 4th Family Games Festival. The event will have 48 craft vendors, 19 food vendors, a bounce house, games for kids, live music and a laser show to end the night.July 4: Enjoy music, food and fireworks


Community members can attend an evening of food, games and activities, music, vendors, and a fireworks display with the Red, White and Boom event. Shuttles will run from 4 p.m.-midnight between the University of Houston at Sugar Land and Smart Financial Centre.July 4: Independence Day Festival

This event will provide fun and excitement for the whole family, including carnival games, community performances, circus performers and tasty treats from local vendors. In addition to the community performances, live musical performances will begin at 6 p.m.July 4: View a fireworks display

New Caney will host 4th Fest on the Hill to celebrate Independence Day. The event will have a hot dog-eating contest, a car show, yard games and kids activities, ending with a fireworks show. Food trucks and other vendors will be present.July 4: Red, Hot & Pool

The Woodlands Red, Hot & Pool will celebrate the Fourth of July with each pool in the area hanging patriotic decorations and providing activities and refreshments. Fees will apply for residents and nonresidents.​​July 4: Celebrate Independence Day


The Fulshear Katy Area Chamber is throwing a Freedom Fest with food trucks, live music, vendor booths and a fireworks show. Kids are able to play in the designated children’s area.

July 4: Celebrate the Fourth of July

The city of Tomball will host its July 4 Celebration and Street Fest, which will feature live music, food, vendors and a kids zone. Plans for the fireworks may change due to weather conditions. Attendees will also be able to enjoy photo opportunities, water inflatables and bubble stations for kids. Coolers are allowed, but outside alcohol and glass containers are not allowed. Parking is available at any parking lot in the Four Corners shopping center.

July 4: Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza

Food, live entertainment and family fun events will commence at multiple locations around The Woodlands. The event will culminate with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area. Activities will vary at different locations.

July 4: Watch a parade in Bellaire

Join the city of Bellaire in its annual July 4 parade and festival. The Children’s Bike Parade will lead the main parade down South Rice Avenue. After the parade, there will be a festival with live music, food and entertainment.
