The Miller Outdoor Theatre hosts a celebration of the contributions of African Americans to American music. The event tributes to artists such as Miles Davis, Al Jarreau and Aretha Franklin, among others. The event will also be streamed online.

The International Day of Yoga is jointly hosted by Discovery Green and the Counsel General of India and will feature Bollywood dancing, performances by advanced yogis, and sounds from local musicians and healers, as well as a facilitated yoga practice. At 8 p.m., guests can walk through a labyrinth of canned food. After the event, food donations will be accepted for the Houston Food Bank.

Located at Discovery Green’s Anheuser-Busch Stage, Rainbow on the Green is back for the 13th year. This pride-packed event will feature live music from the pop singer/songwriter JORDY. Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are welcome, but glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

Houston’s premiere event for Pride season returns to downtown with a parade celebration. The 2023 theme is “All We Need is Love.” A VIP experience includes parade seating, an open bar and light snacks. As of press time, the parade’s grand marshal had not been announced.
