With results tricking in, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has a firm hold on the Democratic race, but the Republican race appears to be less decisive.
Wendell Champion has about 35% of the vote, falling short of a 50% majority. Robert Cadena and T.C. Manning have around 18% each, too close to call as to who would be in the runoff.

Incumbent Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee had a strong showing in early voting results after early returns were posted March 3.
Lee had about 81% of the early vote, with 32,049 early ballots cast in the Democratic Primary. The nearest challenger was Marc Flores with about 6% of the vote.
