A food distribution event at NRG Stadium scheduled for Aug. 28 has been rescheduled to noon-5 p.m. Aug. 29, and the district's curbside and delivery efforts have been suspended, according to an HISD news release.
Facilities are scheduled to reopen Aug. 28 depending on road and weather conditions, the district said, but all employees will be asked to report to work remotely Aug. 28.
Essential employees who must be on-site will be contacted by their supervisors, the district said.
The district's virtual professional development sessions and Camp Spark sessions will continue.
