The Vietnamese restaurant has served family recipes and authentic flavors to the Houston area since 2002.
What’s happening?
In a video posted on Facebook Oct. 5, owners Jenni and Scott Tran-Weaver announced the closing of the Heights location of Jenni’s Noodle House.
The location off East 20th Street has been open for the past fifteen years, but the couple said the restaurant’s lease is up and that they will not be renewing.
“We love all the support we’ve had,” Scott Tran-Weaver said. “If you live around the area and you want Jenni’s Noodle House, you can come to the Shepherd location.”
Going forward
Scott Tran-Weaver said the restaurant's other establishment in the Montrose area will have newly extended hours, serving pho until 12:15 a.m., five nights a week.
The Shepherd location will also continue to serve all of customers’ favorite dishes, Scott Tran-Weaver said, including the Art Car Curry, Infernal Chicken Curry and the Mighty Wonton.
“Thank you so much for 15 years, Heights. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Jenni Tran-Weaver said.
