Local Montrose bar Cecil's Pub reopened in May in a new location after the establishment closed for six months, according to a May 29 social media post.

The new location for Cecil's Pub is at 2405 Genesee St., 0.6 miles away from the former West Gray location. The new spot replaces the former Elro Pizza & Crudo, which closed back in November.

Cecil's Pu was originally located on West Gray Street, but closed in late 2024 after the property's new landlord decided not to sign a lease with the bar, according to an October social media post.
