A new Mexico City-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar is expected to open at the Autry Park development near Buffalo Bayou Park this summer.

The details

Mayahuel is coming soon to the mixed-use development on Allen Parkway, according to a news release on several 2025 restaurant openings in the Houston-area. The concept is under the helm of hospitality company, Culinary Khancepts.

Autry Park is located in the River Oaks area and is home to other dining and bar concepts, such as Annabelle Brasserie and Bar Doko.

Currently, there is no website for the new restaurant.

What to expect

Named for the Aztec goddess of agave, Mayahuel will celebrate Mexican culture, culinary excellence and the artistry of agave spirits, per the news release.

The menu is anticipated to showcase the diverse and authentic flavors of Mexico, from street food to fine dining presentations across several regions of the country, according to the news release.
