Atlas, a Dallas-based cocktail bar, will open in the Heights in 2025. It will be the company's first Houston location and third in Texas, with bars already in Dallas and Fort Worth.

The Heights setting will be a two-story, 4,000-square-foot space. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction is expected to begin on the interior July 1 and wrap up March 3, 2025.

Atlas serves a variety of classic and craft cocktails, such as a pisco sour, Singapore sling, Aperol spritz and espresso martini. The food menu includes bite-sized items, such as German pretzel bites, tomato and basil bruschetta, roasted garlic hummus, carnitas tacos, and charcuterie.

According to the Atlas website, the cocktail bar is meant to transport guests to all corners of the world through specialty drinks that pay homage to different cultures and celebrate diversity.
