Harold's Bistro, Bar & Market is closing its doors in the Heights after 10 years in business.

According to a news release Feb. 27, owner Alli Jarrett said the former restaurant will focus solely on catering.

“We’ve seen a lot together from the days of a private club when the Heights was dry to opening when no one else would during floods, freezes and diseases," she said. "We’ve created many memories and I am grateful to all our guests, staff members, partners, vendors and fellow merchants on 19th Street. It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of the fabric of the neighborhood and serve our community.”

Harold's, which originally opened in 2013, served Southern-style food such as fried chicken and shrimp and grits along with hand-crafted cocktails.

The restaurant will host a final festive dinner March 2 followed by the last brunch March 3.
