Citing challenging financial situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurant officials with Urban Eats announced on social media that they will no longer be serving meals after Jan. 28.

"We've been notified that we must vacate our property due to unpaid rent and property taxes. Although we've raised a portion of the amount due, it's not enough to cover what is required to continue forward. We want to emphasize that this isn't a reflection of our landlord, but rather a result of the challenging financial circumstances we've faced. Serving you has been the honor of a lifetime, and we will forever cherish those moments," officials said on social media.

The American bistro, bar and market offered a full menu including breakfast, brunch, dinner and happy hour, with food items procured locally, according to its website.
