Inspired by the tea parties of England, breakfast and brunch venue Little Hen opened Jan. 4 in the River Oaks District, 4444 Westheimer Court, Ste. H110, Houston.

The 2,678-square-foot space is designed with floral prints and decorated with bouquets, plush accents, chandeliers, and marble and gold tabletops, according to a Jan. 4 press release. A 1,050-square-foot outdoor champagne garden will open in the spring.

The eatery—with flagship locations in Florida—is known for its rose petal pancakes served with rose water-infused maple syrup. Other menu items include avocado salmon toast, caviar omelets, truffled huevos rotos and crab cake eggs Benedict.

A cocktail menu provides mimosas and bloody marys in addition to signature cocktails, such as the Champagne Candy Cloud, made with Pommery champagne and topped with cotton candy and rose petals.

An Afternoon Tea program includes a choice of tea alongside a selection of petits fours, French macarons, mini sandwiches and scones served on vintage, three-tiered stands.
