A number of permits were approved for the project by the city of Houston on Sept. 9, according to city records, including the building permit. The project is listed at just over 192,000 square feet.
Few details have been released about the project, though information from Arch-Con suggests it will include 238 units, a fourth-floor pool and courtyard, more than 14,000 square feet of amenities and 4,000 square feet of retail on the ground flood.
The units will be spread out across six stories, which will be located on top of three stories of parking. Permits were also approved for a parking garage at the site Sept. 9, according to city records.
The site at 701 Richmond Ave. formerly housed a parking lot and office space.
