The Ruby Postnatal, a luxury, round-the-clock, spa-like postpartum retreat for mothers and their newborns is slated to launch at the Omni Hotel in Houston's Tanglewood-area on June 1.
Meet the owner
Founded by local Houstonian Robyn Jedkins, she created the space at the Omni Hotel as a place where new mothers can heal and bond with their new phase in life, according to a May news release.
“As a mother of three, I understand the challenges and joys of motherhood firsthand,” Jedkins said. “My journey through motherhood has provided me with invaluable insights into the needs and concerns of new mothers. By founding The Ruby, I’ve made my mission to provide mothers with the gold standard in postnatal care, ensuring that no mother feels alone, overwhelmed or unsupported in her recovery journey."
