What's special about it?

The Texas-based, woman-founded business offers handmade boots "designed for the modern cowgirl, city slicker and everyone in between," according to a Feb. 7 release from the brand.

City Boots boasts an elevated, feminine-fit shoe made with premium materials, per the release. The "authentic" cowboy boot is made to last for years, and involves over 200 production steps from start to finish.

Houstonians can expect more than 30 styles of boots in every color, including the brand's signature Heart Boot and Lightning Boot.

Quote of note

CEO and founder Lizzy Chesnut Bentley said in the release the idea for City Boots was born in Houston back in 2012 while she worked in the oil and gas industry. For that reason, she said in the statement, the city "will always hold a special place in [her] heart."
