The franchise was launched by accessories designer and native Texan Lisa Sadoughi, also known as the "headband queen" because of her specialization in that garment.
Offerings at the store include collectible jewelry, colorful sunglasses, signature headbands, handbags and hats, among other items. Customers who visit the store are encouraged to experiment with different items and looks while browsing, according to an April 1 press release. The store is open for both walk-ins and scheduled appointments.
“It is important to open stores where we have a history and community," Sadoughi said in a statement. "Our [headquarters] office is in [New York], I spend most of my time in Dallas, and my family is in California. Houston is a great addition to our fleet of stores as it is a city I frequent and have grown a loyal community there.”
To celebrate the opening of the Houston store, Lele Sadoughi is offering an exclusive Houston-themed headband for a limited time featuring hand-sewn charms of Texas, boots and hats.
Another location of the store can be found in Highland Park Village in Dallas.
