The fourth location of The Conservatory, a New York City-based retail shop, opened Sept. 22 in the River Oaks District, offering a concept officials said is focused on sustainability at the intersection of brick-and-mortar and e-commerce.

The 3,300-square-foot shop is at 4444 Westheimer Road, Ste. F100, Houston. The store is home to more than 175 brands and 2,000 products, according to a Sept. 21 press release, including women's and men's clothing, accessories, beauty and wellness supplies, and home decor items.

“We are bringing new brands, many with a focus on sustainability, and unexpected edits to Houston—a discerning city where we are looking forward to becoming a part of the community,” founder Brian Bolke said in a statement.

Brands exclusive to the Houston location of The Conservatory include women's fashion brands Gabriela Hearst, Maison Margiela and Courréges as well as accessory suppliers Metier, Paul Andrew and Neous. Other brands include Mugler, Michael Kors Collection and Phaidon Books.
