Urban Air Adventure Park officials announced details June 11 for the upcoming opening of the new Houston Heights location.

“We’re excited to celebrate our long-awaited upcoming grand opening of Urban Air Adventure Park with the Houston Heights community," Owner Tommy Philips said in a news release. "We have worked hard to bring a safe, fun and super exciting family entertainment center with incredible attractions for the entire family."

What's special about it?

Urban Air is an indoor trampoline and adventure park with typical attractions such as climbing walls, ropes courses and dodgeball. However, the new Heights location is poised to include a unique layout and an additional attraction that will separate itself from the typical national chain, Phillips said.

The Houston Heights spot will be the only Urban Air in the country located entirely on the second story of a building. The new adventure park will be located above the Goldfish Swim School off of Minimax Street and the West Loop.

The space will also include a two-level Go-Kart track that occupies 80% of the park, according to the release. Other key attractions will include bumper cars, an arcade, climbing walls, a sky rider and a playground.
