The Jan. 6 meeting will consist of continuing education for the superintendent and trustees as a new "team of eight," according to the agenda. The training may be discussed in closed session, per the meeting notice.
The special-called meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the Mark Henry Administration Building located at 11440 Matzke Road, Cypress.

New trustees Lesley Guilmart, Cleveland Lane Jr. and Kendra Camarena were sworn in Dec. 11 during a board work session, Community Impact previously reported. Additionally, Trustee Julie Hinaman was elected board president as part of a routine reorganization of board leadership.

The board is scheduled to meet again Jan. 12 for a work session and Jan. 15 for its regular meeting.
