Harris County Toll Road Authority will be closing parts of the Tomball Tollway this weekend, Feb. 7-Feb. 10. (Courtesy Adobe Stock)
Northbound main lanes on the Tomball Tollway from the Northpointe Boulevard exit to Holderrieth Road will be closed for three days starting Feb. 7 so crews can perform maintenance, according to a Feb. 5 news release from the Harris County Toll Road Authority.
What you need to know
The weekend closure begins 9 p.m., Feb. 7 and will reopen at 5 a.m., Feb. 10. Drivers traveling northbound will take the Northpointe Boulevard exit ramp to the frontage road. Traffic can continue past the Grand Parkway, and the tollway can be re-entered at the Holderrieth Road entrance ramp.
According to the news release, these entrance ramps to the Tomball Tollway will also be closed:
The Grand Parkway northbound frontage road
Northpointe Boulevard
Spring Cypress Road
Drivers can expect to see delays when traveling this tollway section during the total closure, according to the HCTRA.
