In a May 5 email statement to Community Impact, Connie Rossi thanked those who supported her campaign.

"It was my steadfast commitment to maintaining positivity and conducting a campaign marked by integrity, transparency and fairness," she said. "I am profoundly grateful for those who generously offered their time and resources during the campaign. Together, we will embark on a new chapter filled with promise and opportunity. Thank you Jersey Village, I am so deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve as your representative."

Election results show Connie Rossi earned the majority of votes in the Jersey Village City Council Position 4 race, according to results posted by the city.


Rossi earned 558 votes, or 57.8% of the votes, compared to her opponent, James Fields, who earned 396 votes, or 41% of the votes in the May 4 election.

Vi Pham was also on the ballot for this race, but she confirmed with Community Impact that she withdrew from the race on March 25. She earned 11 votes.

Meet the candidates
  • Connie Rossi is a legal assistant with 15 years of experience as a public school educator and legal assistant working with municipal utility districts.
  • James “Jim” Fields is a 30-year resident who has served on Planning & Zoning and Parks & Recreation committees. He is retired.

The Position 4 incumbent, James Singleton, chose not to run for re-election.
